Custom Software Development

Custom software built around how your business works.

When ready-made software does not fit, your team ends up working around it. We build software for your billing, stock, staff or customer records that fits the way you already work.

Is this for you?

It is, if one of these sounds like you.

  • Important work still runs on spreadsheets and WhatsApp messages
  • You pay for software that covers only half of what you do
  • You depend on an old system that nobody dares to change
  • Your information is spread across apps that do not talk to each other

Sound familiar?

Why people come to us.

The process lives in people's heads

If work stops when one person is on leave, your growth is stuck. Putting the process into software makes it repeatable and visible to everyone.

Monthly reports take days

Copying numbers between sheets is slow and full of mistakes. When the software records things properly, the report is ready at the click of a button.

The old system works, but nobody can change it

Old software usually becomes impossible to change long before it stops working. We replace it piece by piece, so your business keeps running during the work.

Every app shows different numbers

When customers, orders or stock are kept in four places, people argue about which one is right. One reliable record ends that.

Which one do I need?

Website, app or software: which do I need?

  • Web Development

Choose this if you want people to find your business online, see what you offer and contact you.

For example: A clinic website with its services, doctor profiles and an appointment form.

    About Web Development
  • E-commerce

Choose this if you want to sell products online and take payments.

For example: A clothing brand's online store, with UPI and card payments and delivery tracking.

    About E-commerce
  • Web Applications

Choose this if your customers or staff need to log in to do something, like book, track or manage.

For example: A coaching institute portal where students log in to see classes, fees and results.

    About Web Applications
  • Custom Software

    This page

Choose this if you need a tool to run your own business, like billing, stock, staff or customer records.

For example: Billing and stock software built around how your shop actually works.

  • SaaS Development

Choose this if you want to build software that other businesses sign up for and pay for every month.

For example: A booking app that many salons pay a monthly fee to use.

    About SaaS Development
  • Mobile Apps

Choose this if your customers use you often and would install an app on their phone.

For example: A restaurant's ordering app with saved addresses and order history.

What you get

What we do for you.

Understanding your process

We sit with the people doing the work and map what really happens, including the exceptions. The exceptions are often where the value is.

Screens for everyday work

The screens your team uses all day: lists, approvals, search that works, and quick ways to handle many records at once.

Billing, stock and customer records

Built from scratch where ready-made products do not fit, or connected to them where they do. We will tell you which one you need.

Approvals and a history of changes

Step-by-step processes with the right people, alerts, and a full record of who did what, and when.

Connecting your existing apps

Your accounting, delivery, payment and marketing apps linked together, so information moves on its own instead of being copied by hand.

Replacing old systems safely

Old systems replaced one part at a time, not all at once in one risky switch-over.

Example

What this could look like for a hardware shop with two branches.

A typical case, to show the kind of change this makes. It is an example, not a client story.

Before

Billing is in one app and stock is in Excel. The branches phone each other to check what is available.

After

One system for billing and stock across both branches. Everyone sees the same stock, and the monthly report is a click away.

How it works

Step by step.

  1. 01

    Understand

We talk to your team and watch how the work is done today. We write down what it costs you and where it goes wrong before suggesting anything.

  2. 02

    Plan

We show you the options, with the pros and cons of each, so you choose between clear choices.

  3. 03

    Build in parts

We build it in parts that each work on their own, so you get value during the project, not only at the end.

  4. 04

    Switch over and support

We move your existing data and switch over carefully, with a way back if needed. After that, we keep looking after it.

How long it takes depends on what is included. We give you a timeline before any work starts.

What you have at the end

  • A map of your process and what the software must do
  • Working software, delivered in parts
  • Your existing data moved across and checked
  • Connections to the apps you already use
  • Roles, permissions and a history of changes
  • Training for your team and a support plan

In more detail

One system for running your business

Custom software usually replaces the spreadsheets and email chains that sit between apps that were never meant to work together.

  1. People

    Operations

    Sales

    Accounts

    Owners

  2. Parts of the system

    Customers

    Orders & jobs

    Stock

    Reports

  3. At its heart

    Steps and approvals

    What happens next

    Permissions

    Who sees what

    History

    Who did what

  4. Your other apps

    Accounting

    Delivery

    Customer list

    Email & documents

The value is rarely in one part. It is in having one agreed record of each customer, order or job that everything else reads from.

FAQ

Questions about Custom Software

Is custom software worth it, or should we buy something ready-made?

Often ready-made is better, and we will say so. It wins when your process is standard. Custom wins when the way you work is what makes you different, when licence fees grow with every new employee, or when you already pay people to fill the gaps between apps. The honest answer usually becomes clear once we understand your process.

Can it work with the apps we already use?

Yes. Most projects connect to something you already have, like accounting software, a customer list app or a warehouse system. Replacing everything is the exception.

What happens to our current data?

Moving it is part of the project: we clean it, match it up and check it. We try the move on a copy first and go through the results with you before anything goes live.

What if we need changes during the project?

Changes are normal. For each one, we write down what it does to the time and cost, and you decide. We do not quietly absorb changes until the deadline slips.

Can our own team look after it later?

If you have developers, yes: we use common technology and hand over clear, documented code. If you do not, a support plan with us is the realistic option, and we will say so up front.

For technical teams: what we build this with

Chosen for each project. If your team already uses something that works, we would rather build on it than replace it.

  • TypeScript

    TypeScript

Our default for anything non-trivial. Types catch a whole class of bug before it reaches a review, and they make handover to another team realistic.

  • React

    React

Component architecture for application interfaces — the shared vocabulary between our designers and engineers.

  • Next.js

    Next.js

Server rendering, routing and image optimisation. It is what lets a site be visually rich and still load quickly on a mid-range phone.

  • Node.js

    Node.js

APIs and services, sharing language and types with the frontend so contracts between them cannot silently drift.

  • Python

    Python

Data processing, integrations and automation work, where its libraries are simply the shortest route.

  • PostgreSQL

    PostgreSQL

Our default database. Relational integrity, mature tooling, and it handles far more scale than most projects will ever need.

  • Prisma

    Prisma

Type-safe database access and versioned migrations, so schema changes are reviewable rather than improvised in production.

  • Docker

    Docker

Making local, staging and production genuinely identical, which removes an entire category of works-on-my-machine bugs.

  • AWS

    AWS

Infrastructure for applications with specific compliance, region or architecture requirements.

  • Redis

    Redis

Caching, queues and rate limiting — the layer that keeps an application responsive under load.
